SEA TRANSFER SCHEDULE
- Merang Jetty → Redang Jetty – 12:30pm / 2:30pm
- Redang Jetty → Merang Jetty – 8:00am / 10:00am / 12:00pm

- Return Land & Sea Transfer from Kuala Terengganu airport to Merang Jetty to Redang Island at MYR 275.00nett per person. Include Refreshment at Kuala Terengganu Airport Lounge on complimentary basis.
- Return Sea Transfer from Merang Jetty to Redang Island at MYR 1540.00nett per return boat (up to 10 persons group).

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Offer is valid for bookings until 12 March 2021 and stays from 26 to 28/29 March 2021.
- Effective 1st September 2017, foreign tourists staying at paid accommodation in Malaysia are subject to pay a Tourism Tax of RM10 per room per night. Malaysians or Permanent Residents with MyPR cards are exempted.
- Shuttle@SEA Management reserves rights to change the schedule or details of the program due to sea/weather condition. However, we shall do its best within its capacity to adjust the program.
- The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort reserves the right to replace the badminton sessions with other activities of similar value should the number of participants not meet the requirement one week prior to arrival.
- No cancellation or amendment is allowed, otherwise full penalty on the entire stay will apply.
- In event of broken provided equipment during the package such as Racquets – the fee of RM200.00 per racquet will be charged.
- Non-refundable payment for total reservation value at point of reservation.
FAQ
IF I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SWIM CAN I PARTICIPATE ?
Yes! The unique floating badminton court at sea has been carefully and meticulously designed to be afloat at the depth of just about waist level. However, despite the shallow waters, for those who do not know how to swim, safety jackets are required to be worn. On top of that, we have event marshals at all corners of the platform during the entire session.
WILL THE COURT FLOAT OUT TO THE OCEAN ?
No. The court is securely anchored to the sea bed.
IS THE SURFACE OF THE COURT SLIPPERY ?
The surface of the platform is designed with dual purpose. As stable as it is, it is also built for fun where with sea water, the surface is mildly slippery, so it'll be good to sharpen your balance and train your core strength. For more competitive games, simply wearing rubber water shoes will provide absolute grip whereby it will not be slippery at all, totally changing the perspectives of the game.
WIND AND WAVES. HOW TO PLAY ?
The location is specifically chosen and planned out for a reason. The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort is perfectly located in the lagoon with flat sea bed without stones or corrals. The schedule of the program is chosen wisely at times of the day when the sun, winds and waves are expected to be calm and conducive from our tireless research and study throughout our selected dates to bring you the best experience. As well the special badminton program under our experienced coaches will ensure that all participants at all levels would be able to participate, enjoy and have fun without keep picking the shuttles from the sea.
WILL OUR SHUTTLECOCKS POLLUTE THE OCEAN?
No. All our programs will be done under supervision of professional coaches and crew members to ensure the safety of participants. Our team will always collect back all equipments where each shuttlecocks are numbered, and will definitely not be left drifting at sea. We treasure our ocean!
WHAT TYPE OF SHUTTLECOCKS ARE YOU USING?
We don't use the normal feathered shuttlecocks as when those get in touch with water, the feathers will become wet & heavy. We are using the plastic shuttlecocks for the sea and "Airshuttle" for the beach activity, as after several testing those types are the best for playing performance in the outdoor conditions.
